We saw leather sleeves at Gareth Pugh and Karen Walker, amazing leather detailing at Balenciaga and Ann Demeulemeester and even full, leather dresses at Zac Posen and Marios Schwab. It's safe to say leather isn't just for jackets and accessories anymore.
Of course, it's a bit harder to pull off an entire leather dress or skirt when it's not on the runway. We have a great alternative to add a bit of edge to your wardrobe.
(Susana Monaco Leather Waist dress available at Candie & Dolls)
This black Susana Monaco dress has the perfect touch of leather. A wide leather panel across the waist creates great shape and adds a bit of an edge to the LBD. This dress is a simple yet stunning way to incorporate the leather trend we're seeing for the fall.
Also, be on the lookout for a blog post next week on our favorite leather jackets from Mackage!
